Nomination to the TDA

The Board of Directors of the Texas Dental Association has nominated Dr. Tim Shannon to serve on the TDA's Council on Constitution and Bylaws. The four members of the Council are charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the TDA's Board of Directors, House of Delegates, and other branches conduct their business in accordance with the established Constitution and Bylaws of the Association.

Dr. Shannon served as 2010-2011 President of the North Texas Dental Society, the local TDA component, and has served in various positions on its Board of Directors for several years.

The TDA House of Delegates formally approved Dr. Shannon's nomination during the Texas Meeting in San Antonio in May 2011. His term of office will continue through 2015.
